Submit you abstract to present at the Peak Technique Conference, 13-15th September 2024
The organising committee is pleased to invite our Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy colleagues to submit abstracts to present at NZIMRT Conference 2024.
The theme for our conference is Peak Technique: Reaching for the Summit.
This theme embodies striving for excellence, and pushing to be the best we can be, including reaching for our goals. Our goal for conference in 2024 is to bring new techniques to our MIT and RT colleagues, to revise old techniques, and discuss bringing advanced and extended practice to New Zealand. This year, in honour of this theme, we are trailing "Tiktok Talks". Get creative in your department and create your own Tiktok video to highlight what you are doing to strive for Peak Technique. We also welcome abstracts on topics outside this theme.
Abstract submissions are invited for:
- Oral presentations, scientific, non-scientific, and student presentations are 12 minutes long to allow time for questions. If you wish to have a longer time, please e-mail the conference convenors at kim.lewis@tdhb.org.nz or Helen.vere@tdhb.org.nz.
- Case race presentations are 5 minutes - presentations can include a case study, interesting case or technique – ideal for first time presenters
- Tiktok talks a maximum of 3 minutes and will be presented on a video display in the conference foyer. Videos need to be uploaded to the conference drive before Friday 6th September.
- Posters will need to be delivered to the conference convenors no later than Friday 6th September, and will be displayed in the Conference Foyer.
