Mercy Radiology Botany branch has recently installed new MRI Modality with operation date set for later this year. This is an exciting time for us - and we are seeking applications for not one... but two MRI Technicians who will be running this entirely new scanner for us!
As an MRI Tech at Mercy Radiology, you'll be providing efficient operation of MRI services and ensuring that quality scans are performed for our patients. You'll work alongside top medical professionals in a positive, forward thinking organisation where the company values are alive and visible. You will have the ability to utilise your outstanding clinical skills in an environment that is busy and stimulating.
Both vacancies are permanent part-time and based at our Botany branch, working 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday rostered between 7am and 7pm. Position One is for 32 hours per week and position Two is for 24 hours per week.Some weekend work might be required as necessary.
As our ideal candidate, you will:
· Hold a Medical Radiation Technologist qualification
· Have at least 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience
· Be currently registered with the NZMRTB
· Have excellent work ethics, be reliable, flexible and organised in your work approach
· Have in-depth knowledge with Vascular, MSK, Neuro, Body and Breast scanning (knowledge in Cardiac imaging is highly desirable)
· Have strong communication skills
