About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Radiology Department here in Nelson. You will be rostered on shifts, rotating throughout the seven days, with no one working alone at one time. Our team provides a comprehensive diagnostic radiology service including: general radiography, MRI, CT Scanning, ultrasound, cardiac catheterisation and angiography.
We have a permanent, part-time position, working 72 hours a fortnight (0.9FTE), available and are seeking a qualified MIT to help us complete our team.
About you
You will be registered with the NZMRT Board and hold a current APC. You need to be positive, friendly, have a good sense of humour, and be willing to become part of a friendly and dedicated team. Cardiac or interventional experience would be a bonus, but is not necessary.
To succeed in this role you will have the following:
· A sound knowledge of diagnostic radiography
· Excellent communication skills and empathy
· The passion to deliver high-quality healthcare
· The flexibility to work within a Monday-Sunday rotating roster
