The successful applicants will have a patient-focused approach to care, be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment and have excellent communication skills.
Applicants for these positions must also be registered with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board.
These roles include rostered duties in all areas of our well-equipped radiation therapy facility and shift work and on-call rosters. The radiation oncology team is vibrant, dynamic and dedicated to the provision of an efficient, high quality patient focused treatment service that includes a diverse range of advanced techniques.
Our service is located in Wellington Regional Hospital, and has a complement of modern equipment including three linacs with IGRT/VMAT/FFF/Gating and Stereotactic options, CT, 3D treatment planning system and the Aria networked patient management system. Superficial x-ray, HDR Brachytherapy and access to MR and PET imaging are also available.
