Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT)
We're looking for a qualified Medical Radiation Technologist with current MRTB registration and a minimum of 3 years experience to provide casual weekend cover at our Xray centre at The Palms Medical Centre.
The Palms Medical Centre is a large, busy Urgent Care and General Practice located in Palmerston North. We are open 8.00am to 8.00pm 7 days/week. This casual position is responsible for covering some weekend and some evening on-call and call outs to perform general medical imaging procedures on our patients. There may also be opportunity to cover staff during times of leave during Monday to Friday.
Duties and Responsibilities;
* Undertake general XRays
* Ensure patients understand procedures and are kept informed at all times
* Provide a high level of attention to detail and accuracy through your work
* Work in compliance with industry standards and guidelines
* Actively seek out and take part in continued professional development events
