About the role
This is an exciting new opportunity to join our growing Radiology Department here in Nelson.
MRI at NMH is in an exciting phase of operation with a new MRI suite being built and a new Magnet being installed. We are looking for a hard working, dedicated and positive MRI Technician to join our small team and help us to bring MRI into the future.
About you
You will be registered with the NZMRT Board and hold a current APC and you will need to have completed your post-graduate qualification in MRI. You need to be positive, friendly and a team player with a good sense of humour and be willing to become part of a friendly and dedicated team. Our team provides a comprehensive diagnostic radiology service including: General Radiography, MRI, CT Scanning, Ultrasound, Cardiac Catheterisation and Angiography.
To succeed in this role you will have the following:
· A sound knowledge of diagnostic radiography
· Excellent communication skills and empathy
· The passion to deliver high-quality healthcare
· The flexibility to work a Monday-Sunday rotating roster
