Timaru Radiology has a vacancy for a Medical Imaging Technologist to join our friendly and supportive team, working one day a week (permanent part-time).
We are a private radiology practice based in Timaru, providing x-ray, ultrasound and bone density services, Monday to Friday. Timaru Radiology also provides radiography cover to the privately-run Bidwill Hospital where we are occasionally called on to do portable x-rays on ward patients or in the orthopaedic theatre.
Timaru Radiology is a pleasant, modern work environment with our single x-ray room recently updated with a new Fuji DR system which is incredibly easy to operate together with a very lightweight detector.
You will need to have strong people skills, good communication skills, an excellent work ethic and be reliable, flexible and organised in your work approach.
You must be registered with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Board as a Diagnostic Medical Imaging Technologist and be experienced in all aspects of general radiography, while holding a current APC and Driver’s Licence and clear police check.
